Through hands-on training, pet owners learn proper massage and bodywork techniques for canines. The coursework covers a basic understanding of the benefits of massage therapy, the basic strokes of massage and how and where to apply them, an overview of canine anatomy and physiology, instruction on how to understand and interpret behavioral cues indicating the need for massage, and training to provide a relaxation massage for a dog.

Through hands-on training, owners and handlers can learn proper massage and bodywork techniques for horses. The coursework covers a basic understanding of the benefits of massage therapy, the basic strokes of massage and how and where to apply them, an overview of equine anatomy and physiology, and an overview of the principles of equine movement. Students also receive instruction on how to understand and interpret behavioral cues indicating the need for a massage and training to provide a relaxation and maintenance massage for a horse.
